DUBAI, April 11 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates on Wednesday expressed "deep concern" on the current situation in Syria and urged measures to protect civilians, UAE state news agency WAM reported.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of UAE called on the international community to take all the necessary actions to guarantee the safety of civilians and end violence in Syria.
The UAE also called for the establishment of an inquiry commission and holding those responsible for the chemical weapons attacks accountable.
The UAE stressed the need to activate the Arab in joint international efforts to advance the political solution.
It called upon all Syrian parties to return to the negotiation table and immediately implement all relevant resolutions.
