BEIJING, April 13 (Xinhua) -- "Hello, Beijing," a documentary film on five foreigners' lives in Beijing, will hit Chinese screens starting April 19.
The film is about the experiences of a German musician, two British business people, a Pakistani banker and a Pakistani student in Beijing in pursuit of their dreams.
Chinese people use "Beipiao," or "Beijing drifter," to describe people outside Beijing who came to the city to seek a living or success.
Director Wan Jianying said the film tells the inspirational stories of these "foreign Beipiaos."
"It is about the foreigners saying hello to China and their lives of endeavor in China," said producer Mao Chengsheng. Enditem
